An h bridge is an electronic circuit used to control a direct current motor, it can rotate the motor in both directions (clockwise and counterclockwise)

Functioning
The operation is quite simple, we just have to put voltage on R1 to drive transistors T1 and T3 and so it can rotate forward or put voltage on R2 to drive transistors T2 and T4 so that it turns in reverse (Only one resistance has to have voltage at the same time so that the motor can rotate freely) I leave this gif to see how it works.
