There is a great variety of electrical and / or electronic components that are used in the boards to create circuits that are capable of handling lighting, machines and even more complex processes such as industrial ones.

In this article we will create a list with the most used components and a short description of the operation and / or applications of each device.

Indicators and buttons
These components serve to help operators to activate or deactivate parts of the processes, the indicators are used to have a feedback of the variables and important point whether they are working correctly or there is a problem.

Selector button

They are known as pilot lamps and these are used in different ways, either as indicative to know where in the process we are, to know if the controlled variables are in the appropriate values, to know if there is any problem in the system, etc. .

This is one of the most advanced elements that we can find in an electrical panel since it has an endless number of applications, mainly it is used to start the different stages of the processes, to manually activate or deactivate an actuator and it is also used to monitor the controlled variables.


Of protection
Protective electrical components serve to prevent major or most expensive devices from breaking down, whether due to overcurrent, malfunction, variations in the voltage line, etc.

Motor protectors
